Quiet Conversations About Freedom
Question the rules. Rethink the assumptions. Build a life that’s actually yours
Quiet Conversations About Freedom is a podcast about the assumptions, invisible rules, and ideas that quietly shape our lives. Through personal stories and thoughtful conversations, I explore freedom, creativity, reinvention, human behavior, and what happens when we start questioning the way things are supposed to be.

Quiet Conversations About Freedom is a short audio essay series about freedom, reinvention, time, and the lives we’re building—often without realizing it.
These aren’t lessons or advice. They’re reflections. Observations inspired by ordinary moments, shared out loud and meant to be listened to slowly—while walking, making coffee, or staring out at the ocean.
Nothing to fix. Nothing to optimize.
Just something to sit with.
Listen when you have a few quiet minutes. Let the thoughts linger if they want to.
I’ve been talking about starting a podcast for almost two years. I had ideas. I had plans. I had the equipment. However, somehow, I still hadn’t recorded an episode.
Instead, I kept finding more things to prepare. My website. My podcast page. My content strategy. Even which WordPress theme I should use. All perfectly reasonable things to think about.
Except none of them needed to be figured out before I pressed record.
It reminded me of a family trip to Las Vegas years ago, when I was completely enthusiastic about riding the zip line over Fremont Street, right up until the moment I actually had to get on it.
In this first episode of Quiet Conversations About Freedom, I’m thinking about the surprisingly blurry line between preparation and procrastination, why productive procrastination can be so difficult to recognize, and the imaginary prerequisites we sometimes create between ourselves and the things we say we want.
And, appropriately enough, this episode is what happened when I finally stopped preparing and started.
